Dea is a traditional hatha & yin yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga since 2018. She began practising yoga 15 years ago in her hometown of Jakarta but had no idea at the time that yoga was a spiritual science that could change her life.
The teaching offered by Dea is coming from the ancient lineage of the Himalayan Masters in a systematic methodology. To reap the full benefits of yoga, students must engage in a complete practice involving asana, pranayama, meditation, mantras, and more. That is her belief, and it is reflected in her teaching.
Marilu initiated her Yoga journey in 2002, with the Iyengar method, in time studied and explored other styles of Yoga and eventually ended up traveling frequently to Mysore India to study with her Guru Sharath Jois in Ashtanga Yoga.

It is a practice to still the fluctuation of the mind and to bring more clarity and focus in life.
When you sit in meditation, you watch your thoughts and emotions come and go without judgment. This not only allows you to understand what is going on inside of you but also enables you to calm down the mind, become more present, and improve a deeper spiritual connection.
Often translated as “enlightened sleep,” Yoga Nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. Mind and body are asleep, but consciousness is aware. During this practice, our brain waves change, shifting from Beta (active state) through Alpha (meditative state) into the deeper Theta (dream state) and Delta (sleep state).
The body is completely relaxed and the practitioner turns the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; like a guided meditation. Yoga Nidra is very beneficial to relaxes the nervous system, relaxes the heart and skeletal muscle, gives a deep rest and deepens self-awareness.
Hatha yoga classes not only focus on the physical body but also on the mental and energetic body. The asanas (physical postures) are held for a longer period of time and combined with different breathing techniques to create strength, stability, and stillness both in the body and the mind. There will be other tools, such as mantras, bandhas, and kriyas, to reach deeper layers of our subtle body.
Hatha yoga classes are beneficial for increased physical strength and steadiness, improved mental clarity and focus, and a deep sense of inner calm and contentment. Ultimately, consistent Hatha yoga practice will awaken the dormant power that leads to self-realization.
Pilates is a physical fitness system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. It is designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness. The exercises in Pilates emphasize core strength and stability while also targeting other muscle groups.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a traditional and disciplined form of yoga that was popularized by K. Pattabhi Jois. The practice is characterized by a set sequence of postures, organized into primary, intermediate, and advanced series. Each series consists of a precise sequence of asanas (postures) that are performed in a continuous and flowing manner, connected by synchronized breath and movement, known as vinyasa.
Students are guided through a series of poses, seamlessly transitioning from one to another in sync with their breath. Classes typically commence with a centering practice to ground and set intentions, followed by a warm-up that prepares the body for the more dynamic sequences to come.
Throughout the practice, emphasis is placed on mindful breathing, inviting practitioners to deepen their awareness and presence with each movement. As the class progresses, a variety of poses are explored, ranging from standing postures to inversions. The session typically concludes with a period of relaxation, allowing students to integrate the benefits of their practice and leave feeling balanced, rejuvenated, and centered.
This dynamic style of yoga, students move through a sequence of poses with intentional breath-to-movement coordination, emphazising physical intensity and mental focus.
Strong Vinyasa classes often incorporate a variety of challenging asanas, including arm balances, inversions, and deep backbends, designed to push practitioners beyond their comfort zones while fostering resilience and inner power.
Students move slowly and mindfully through a series of creative sequences, focusing on deepening their breath, enhancing flexibility, and fostering awareness of physical postures.
This class is accessible to practitioners of all levels, offering a gentle yet enjoyable way to stretch, unwind and relax.
In this very gentle slow paced class we focus on lengthening and releasing pressure in the spine, shoulders, hips and hamstrings to help re-balance your body. Extra focus will go to breath awareness as we all know that a calm mind is a great tool in the water. Ideal for everyone (non-surfers included) who wants to focus on mindful stretches to slow down and recover.
It’s a Yin approach to Yoga where the practitioners hold one posture for a minimum of 3 minutes. This length of time is used to stretch the thicker layers of our connective tissues. We let gravity do the work by sinking into the poses with or without the support of bolsters, blankets and blocks. To embody Yin qualities means to be relaxed, passive, slow, still, quiet, introverted, intuitive and receptive.
Gently sink into long-held poses designed to release tension from deep within your body, as the resonant tones of singing bowls, chimes, and other healing instruments guide your mind into a state of calm and clarity. This experience helps you reconnect with your breath, balance your nervous system, and restore inner harmony. Suitable for all levels—come ready to soften, unwind, and renew.
This practice targets both the fascia and the deeper layers of tension stored in the body, helping to improve mobility, release tight spots, and restore ease in movement.
Expect to hold passive stretches while using gentle pressure from the balls to massage trigger points, enhance circulation, and invite deep relaxation. Perfect for anyone needing a release from physical or emotional tightness.
